Revolutionary innovation – implementation of automated sorting robots
Packeta is a digital e-commerce platform that sets trends in logistics. It was created with the aim of simplifying the transport of goods to customers by e-shops. Today, it provides solutions for the transport of shipments all over the world. The credo of Packeta is to quickly and conveniently highlight the principles without waiting. This is made possible not only by a wide network of expenditure places, but also by the technology used in the processing of individual devices. In 2022, Packeta implemented sorting solutions in the form of automated, independently moving sorting robots on an area of 2 x 10,000m² at its distribution centers in Prague Štěrboholy and Prague Rudná. Our bale sorting robot is a revolutionary innovation that saves manpower and time. The robot can carry a package of up to 15 kg and in one 10-minute charge it sorts and distributes shipments continuously for up to 2 hours. V porovnaní s předdchádzajúcim modelom, kde zášielky triedili ľudia, roboty dodokáže spracovať až dvojnásobok zásielok za hodin. This resulted in a significant increase in efficiency. For the success of this solution, we plan to implement it in other depots in Slovakia.
