Moving the customer within the logistics park while maintaining smooth operations
dm drogerie markt is an important international retailer of drugstores and cosmetics, and at the same time a long-term customer of the developer Prologis. VPrologis Park Bratislava has been located since 2009, when it rented 10,000 square meters of storage space. Since then, Prologis has gradually made available approximately 18,000 square meters in two buildings for dm drogerie markt. However, the situation in the field of storage, logistics and retail has changed dramatically, and the customer needed new premises that correspond to its leading position in the market. Therefore, in 2022, Prologis built a new custom building for dm drogerie markt with an area of 30,000 square meters, including 3,000 square meters of office space. The hall was designed and constructed according to the specific needs of the customer with a special focus on temperature regulation. When moving to a new warehouse, which is ready for the implementation of complex automation solutions, Prologis provided the customer with full cooperation so that the entire process did not affect its logistics operations.
