Bibiána Buková, University of Žilina

Graduate of the University of Transport and Communications in Žilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications. After university she worked in a freight forwarding company. At the request of VŠDS teachers, she returned to school and started full-time doctoral studies in sectoral and cross-sectoral economics. After completing her doctoral studies and obtaining her PhD, she took her first maternity leave. At the age of 29, she obtained the title of Assoc. After a year she started to work as an associate professor at the Faculty of Operations and Economics of Transport and Communications. Currently, she is the co-guarantor of the study programme Freight Forwarding and Logistics, FPEDAS. Teaching activity is carried out at domestic, foreign universities and colleges. He uses the Erasmus mobility programme. Currently her teaching activity is focused on the areas of business in transport and logistics, social and labour law in transport. In her extensive publishing activity she focuses mainly on the field of logistics and international freight transport. Several highly professional publications are based on her many years of research and participation in international projects. She actively cooperates with practice as a supervisor of bachelor, master and doctoral theses. She applies her creativity practically in marketing projects of FPEDAS, University of Žilina. She was the project manager of the events. UNIZA and the 30th anniversary of the KŽD UNIZA transport laboratory.
