Information on the processing of personal data

1. Who is the controller and the data processor
The controller of the personal data you provide is the division ATOZ Logistics of the company ATOZ Marketing Services, spol. s r. o., with the headquarters at Holečkova 29, Praha 5, ID Number: 48117706, which is the organizer of the congress SLOVLOG.. Our company organizes professional business meetings and other meetings of representatives of companies from various fields (further only “events”), publishes professional magazines, operates informational web portals and engages in other B2B marketing activities.

2. Which personal data we process
When you register for our event, you provide us with some personal information as part of the registration or at the event itself. These are basic contact details: your first and last name, your work phone, email address, and job position in connection with the company you represent and under whose name you registered. In addition, we record which of your events you have visited, whether you are subscribed to one of our magazines, or whether you are subscribed to any of our newsletters. We also capture images and video footage of the event, so it is possible that you will appear on one of these shots. We upload your name, position and company name into the event’s app.

3. Why we need the data and what we do with it
We need your information so that we can communicate with you about your participation in the event and so that we can create the best possible conditions for the event to be as valuable as possible for you from both an informational and a business point of view. The partners of the event help us in this endeavor, and together we look for ways to increase the business potential of concrete participants. For that reason, they also need to have access to your contact details. Thanks to this, they are able to contact you both at the event and shortly after with offers of cooperation with the company that you represent at the event. Participating in the event creates no obligation to engage in business cooperation with the event partners – that is completely up to you. The list of partners of the event can be found here.
In order to inform the professional public about the event, we take photographs and, if necessary, short video reports. This is the best way to convey how the event really was, and we publish them in our professional magazines, on our web portals, on the websites of the events to which you are registering, and on the profiles of the events on social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn. And, of course, we distribute an official press release to selected media, to which we attach certain pictures from the event. Publication of such pictures does not give you the right to a fee.
We also save your data so that we can invite you to similar events in the future. We invite by email or by phone. It is also possible that we will reach out to you with an offer to take part in a similar project in the future if we believe that the given project could be of informational or business value to you.
We are justified in processing the personal data of the participants of our events as it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or the interests of our partners. Without such processing we would not be able to organize our events or prepare our professional magazines in which we publish a whole range of professional articles.
We need your personal data so that we can continue to develop and offer you ever more perfect products. By not providing your personal data, you as well would miss out on the chance to make new business contacts and further develop your business skills. Our activities are linked solely to your business activities, and therefore your personal data will never be used to offer you products or services for your personal use.

4. Time of processing of personal data
We process provided data for a period of five years following the conclusion of the event. If you register for another event, a new five-year period for processing the data begins. Partners, on the other hand, are required to delete all personal data at the latest one year after the event. So that they don’t forget, we regularly remind them of this requirement. Beyond this point, they are allowed to process your personal data only if you give them your express consent or if another legal justification for processing your data arises, like for example that you enter into a business arrangement with the partner of the event.

5. Where we collect personal information and their updates
We process personal information that we receive from you during the registration process or which you provide to us at the event itself. We also monitor whether you are subscribed to one of our newsletters or to one of our magazines. It is also possible that your face is captured by a camera lens or video camera during the course of the event.
We try to keep the data up to date. Therefore, we ask that you inform us if any of the information you provided changes or if you no longer represent the company that you did at the time of registration. Please contact us either via the form at the bottom of www.atoz.cz or by email at distribuce@atoz.cz.

6. Who will have access to your personal data
We process data primarily within our company. We take care that only those employees who need it to carry out their work have access to personal data. To this end, we use access control for individual files, password-protected files and other technical and organizational measures.
In order for the event to be as good as possible, and for it to be as successful as possible for you in terms of business and information, we use the help of specialists – event managers. For the purpose of organizing the event, the event manager has access to the personal data, thus becoming a processor.
So that you can get the maximum business potential out of the event you plan to attend, the registration details are also made available to the event partners. Partners therefore become data processors. (You can find the list of partners here.) Prior to receiving the contact list, they are obliged to commit in writing to deal with contacts in accordance with the business spirit and the purpose of the event in order to develop business and the business of the participants.
When distributing printed material, we use specialized distribution companies. To ensure the distribution itself, we need to pass on your name and surname, company name and address.
All processors of personal data must ensure that they handle the data in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.

7. Your rights as a data subject
Valid legislation gives you the right to access the data that we process about you – you can ask us at any time to present which of your data we manage. You also have the right to request the deletion or modification of the data or to request the restriction on or file an objection to its processing. However, if any of the above steps take place in regards to the processing of your personal information, the nature of the change may mean that we will not be able to provide you with the service you wish to use.
In order to exercise your rights, please contact us either via the form at the bottom of the page www.atoz.cz or by e-mail at the address distribuce@atoz.cz - we will do our best to satisfy you.
