Miroslav Mituník, Continental Tires

Miroslav Mituník studied international trade at the University of Economics in Bratislava. He has been working for Continental since 2011. At the Slovak plant for the production of passenger and truck tyres in Púchov, he worked within the marketing and sales division, where he held several positions in sales implementation, tyre dispatch, market requirements management and logistics. Since 2021, he has been leading the regional team responsible for Continental’s multi-regional distribution center built in VGP Park near Bratislava. With an expedition capacity of almost 4 million passenger tyres and 150,000 truck tyres per year, the logistics centre currently serves 5 markets and supplies tyres to 14 European countries. With a storage area of almost 60,000 m2, a maximum storage capacity of 650,000 tyres and a daily shipment of up to 40,000 tyres, it is the company’s largest regional distribution centre in Europe.
