Jan Pavlíček, Antwell

Jan Pavlíček is the Founder and CEO of the Antwell Group, which he has been building since 1998, when he started his business in the transport sector as a sole trader. In 2004, he founded JP Spedition, now Antwell Group, and without external capital, grew it into one of the leading players in the truck rental sector in Central Europe. In 2009, when competitors were struggling, he entered the heavy equipment segment. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully transitioned from pure transport services to rental, and in 2022, through thoughtful risk management, mitigated the impact of the oil crisis. Under his leadership, the group has grown from a single truck to a fleet of more than 650 vehicles and serves premium clients among global logistics and industrial corporations. Jan Pavlíček is also the founder of Antwell Autocentrum and Antwell Used and a strong advocate of vertical integration. The group’s own service centre, tyre service, and used equipment sales channel form a closed value chain across the entire group.
