Martin Hubeňák obtained a bachelor in management and economy degree from the Business School in Ostrava and been active in the logistics sector ever since. He started his career in 2001 and gained operational experience in supply chain, warehousing and freight forwarding in the companies Exel/DHL and later DB Schenker as project manager and Transpoint International as general manager. In 2012 he moved to one of the main steel producers in the Czech Republic, Vítkovice Steel, and held the position of logistics and production planning director. As of March 2017, he is representing Port of Antwerp-Bruges in the Central and Eastern Europe region, specifically in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
