One roof concept – A step towards more efficient and sustainable logistics
METRO Slovakia and HOPI SK joined forces to expand the distribution center in Madunice. The goal was clear – the ONE ROOF concept. To cover storage and distribution in all temperature regimes in one place, reduce costs in the supply chain, and at the same time prepare space for further development of commercial and logistics activities. The project also has a significant environmental dimension – reducing CO₂ emissions through transport optimization and the use of modern sustainable technologies. The new warehouse, with an area of almost 12,000 m², reflects all customer requirements and paves the way for more efficient distribution within Slovakia. This investment represents an important step towards sustainable and competitive logistics.
