Martin Hubeňák obtained a bachelor in management and economy degree from the Business School in Ostrava and been active in the logistics sector ever since. He started his career in 2001 and gained operational experience in supply chain, warehousing and freight forwarding in the companies Exel/DHL and later DB Schenker as project manager and Transpoint International as general manager. In 2012 he moved to one of the main steel producers in the Czech Republic, Vítkovice Steel, and held the position of logistics and production planning director. As of March 2017, he has worked for the Antwerp Port Authority as port representative for Central and Eastern Europe, specifically in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
