Visit to the logistics platform of FM Logistic in Sereď
FM Logistic provides comprehensive logistics services and has been operating in Slovakia since 1999. In Sereď, it has a platform with an area of 55,000 m2 and a capacity of 88,000 pallet places. Here it can re-store goods in standard ambient mode and ensure storage up to 12°C in the refrigerated section. The annual production of products of the co-pack center is more than 113 million pieces. Production lines, of which there are more than 40, are in operation 5 days a week in two shifts or three shifts. The entire co-packing process is semi-automated. The logistics center also includes a section designed for storing so-called high-value goods, where a specific security standard was introduced according to the client’s requirements on an area of 4,700 m2 and very strict operational conditions were implemented. The goods that are produced and processed are then distributed throughout Europe. Almost 70 trucks with a total volume of 5,500 pallets leave the platform daily.
